The U.S.
Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office (DOE-ID),
currently uses the
Department of Energy e-Center to post solicitations, receive proposals, and disseminate award
information. Entities wishing to participate in these solicitations will need to
register at the e-Center website (http://e-center.doe.gov).
Proposals will only be accepted through the e-Center, unless otherwise indicated within the
solicitation document.
On or about June 1, 2008, DOE-ID will be using
FedConnect for posting solicitations, receiving proposals and
disseminating award information. In
preparation, we are advising current and potential contractors
and financial assistance recipients to register with FedConnect at
https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/.
In addition, we are recommending that
all organizations that want to do business with the Department of Energy
register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), even those who
are not required to be registered by the Federal Acquisition Regulation
as this facilitates registration on FedConnect. In general, the system
functionality of FedConnect requires that all organization be registered
with the CCR, before registering with FedConnect. |
